	actor biography

Nico Lathouris plays a pivotal role in Heartbreak High. On screen, he's George Poulos, a Greek ex-football star who migrated to Australia and is the father of Nick and Effie. But off screen, Nico is also the series drama coach, responsible for developing the skills of the younger actors and actresses who star in the series. Working closely with Heartbreak High;s directors and producers, Nico has helped to build up the high-quality acting which has won so much praise from the critics.

Nico draws on his years of experience in the theatre, film and TV. Before joining the Heartbreak High team, he had worked on the TV series 'Police Rescue' and run film and drama workshops for the Australian Film Commission.
