Corey became involved with Heartbreak High almost by accident while he was in the second year at Flinders Uni in Adelaide, studying drama. A friend who was in her final year decided to try for a part in the show, and had to make a video clip to send to the producers. She asked Corey to help her act out a scene from The Heartbreak Kid. She didn't actually get the part she was going for, but the Heartbreak High production team were so impressed with Corey's performance that they invited him to Sydney to audition for the part of Steve.
Although he's had plenty of acting experience (he's been involved in plays and theatre workshops since he was 15) Corey really values the rehearsal time allowed for Heartbreak High, and describes drama coach Nico Lathouris as "something of a guru."
Born on the 27th March 1971, Corey's favourite Tv shows include Seinfeld and GP. He says his favourite films are The Age of Innocence and True Romance.
