character biography
Carson originally was a bit of a dictator - he wanted the kids to do exactly what he wanted. But since his arrival at Hartley, he has learnt to see the kids' side of things a bit more often. His old views have changed and he is a much better headmaster because of it. Although he wont tolerate the kids running riot - he is not afraid to suspend or expel kids if the need be.
His background is unknown - Dennis and Gem tried to find out about him, and saw a young man at his door; they concluded he was gay! The young man was Carson's son, but Carson is not married. He believes that that the kids need know nothing about him.
