Season One

Mr. North discovers Rose has a major crush on him and as tempting as it may be to encourage her, he puts a stop to it. However, Rose is not easily put off and eventually North resorts to confiding in Rose about a situation in his past when he did cross that line between teacher and student and how this resulted in dreadful consequences to both his personal and professional life. He trusts Rose with this personal secret. Rose is understanding, but continues to hold a torch for Mr. North.

When George is judgemental about Stella's past, Stella resigns from the Poulos house. George comes under pressure from Nick and Effie to get her back. Stella returns.
