Season One

Rose sees a significant romantic moment between Christina and Mr. North. Upset and jealous, she later lets slip to Christina a hint of Mr. North's secret. Perplexed, Christina confronts Phil and is thrown when he confesses to a relationship with a past student. She now has real concerns about Phil North's relationship with Rose. Pull of doubts, she seeks Rose out, more as a lover than a teacher, to find out what really happened between her and North. After everything comes to light, Christina doesn't feel she and North can redeem their relationship. She's heartbroken, but it is for the best when he engineers his own transfer from the school. Christina and Rose share a subtle and private resolve.

Graham, distraught when he hears that Deloraine is considering having music dropped as Year 11/12 elective because of dwindling enrolments, fires Jodie up to do something about it. She gets the gang involved in creating a grunge vocal percussion ensemble which blows everybody away: Deloraine sees Graham's point.

Jodie's sister has friends staying and Jodie cannot get any steep. More frustrating for Nick, is the lack of a place for them to enjoy a kiss. George is worried when they stay out all night in a car to be together, so Stella suggests he ask Jodie to stay at the Poulos house, that way, George can keep an eye on them. George won't have them sleeping together, but Nick thinks he'll find a way around that. Unfortunately, Jodie just wants to catch up on her sleep. Nicky has a few things to learn about romance and relationships.
