Season One

Graham is victimised for an alleged homosexual advance. His life becomes a nightmare as harassment escalates from classroom and school yard taunts, to an off-campus bashing. When the pressure threatens to become too much, Graham has serious doubts about continuing as a teacher at Hartley.

Chaka's Father comes to the school to talk to the kids about survival against oppression and violence. It helps raise awareness amongst the students, especially Rivers and Co., to Graham's plight.

The talk also helps Chaka make her decision to move to Darwin with her family after her Father gets a job there. Con and Rivers in particular, are unhappy about losing her.
