Heartbreak High Episode 6
Season One

Chaka's erratic behaviour at school concerns Con. He discovers that she is under enormous pressure at home; battling to keep house, look after her younger siblings and keep her Mum's piece-work ironing job up-to-date while her Mum is away for a few weeks in El Salvador looking for her husband who has been missing for four years. Con enlists the aid of the rest of the gang to help Chaka out, but when her younger brother gets into trouble with the police, Chaka can't handle it and breaks down. Chaka feels tike she has failed her Mother and also the Father she has not seen or heard from, but who she believes is alive.

Frightened for Chaka, the gang calf in Yola who moves Chaka and her siblings to Christina's and her flat. Everyone is warmed when Chaka's parents telephone her and reassure her that they are proud of her efforts.

Christina deliberates over setting a date for her wedding and finally agrees.
