Salvatore Coco in Underbelly

Salvatore Coco (Con Bordino) is currently starring in the third series of the hugely popular crime drama Underbelly.

He plays the role of Harry Hamoud - a character described as “an enforcer with plenty of muscle and a ‘don’t mess with me’ attitude”.

Peter Sumner’s screenplay due to go into production

Peter Sumner (best known to Heartbreak High viewers as Principal Les Bailey) also writes and directs, outside of his acting career. His feature length screenplay ‘Spider Dance’ is due to be produced this year, with John Malkevich and Winona Ryder amongst the cast. Congratulations!

Quote from Peter’s website - “In 2010 Peter’s screenplay SPIDER DANCE will be produced by Robert Roworth’s company Johnny Pictures starring Juliette Binoche, John Malkevich, Winona Ryder, Hugh Dancey and a cast of top Australian actors. The movie will be directed by Lajos Koltai with principle photography due to begin early in the year at Cinecitta Studios in Rome. The shoot will continue in India, Sydney and Queensland with exteriors.”

Heartbreak High returns to the ABC

December 4th 2009 sees the return of Heartbreak High to Australian screens as new digital channel ABC3 launches.

Heartbreak High can be seen in half hour slots, Sunday to Fridays at 8.30pm.
